Surakarta Hadiningrat Education Foundation
De facto, Slamet Riyadi University has existed since 1977 under the auspices of the Surakarta Hadiningrat Education Foundation (YPSH) based on Decree No.04/Kep/YPSH/1977.
Official Establishment of YPT Slamet Riyadi
The Higher Education Foundation (YPT) Slamet Riyadi was established based on Notarial Deed of R. Mulyatno, SH. Surakarta Number 11. This date is designated as UNISRI's Anniversary (Dies Natalis).
Kopertis Region VI Membership
UNISRI obtained registered status as a member of the Private Higher Education Coordination (Kopertis) Region VI Central Java (now LL Dikti VI) based on Decree No.119/K/22/Kop.VI/1980.
Registered Status for Diploma Level
UNISRI obtained registered status from the Ministry of Education and Culture for Diploma level through Decree of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 0309/0/1981.
Registered Status for Bachelor's Degree Level
To meet student demand, YPT Slamet Riyadi applied for registered status for Bachelor's degree level in 1983 and obtained its legal formal status in 1984.
B Accreditation from BAN-PT
UNISRI was officially declared as a B accredited higher education institution by BAN-PT through Decree No.282/SK/BAN-PT/Ak-PPJ/PT/V/2020, valid until May 24, 2025.
ISO 21001:2018 Certification
UNISRI received ISO 21001:2018 certificate, an international standard for educational organization management systems, enhancing standardized and quality higher education management governance.
